I am here for Dating, Friends and Networking

About Me

My name is John R. Carpenter, insert joke here_________, and I am an up and coming feature film director. My passion is film, has been since I was six and saw "Star Wars" and "The Spy Who Loved Me", both in the theatre. First run in 1977. I am a Genre director through and through, more specifically a Horror film director. My idol is THE John Carpenter and I will be the next go to guy for Horror films. When horror is done right, it is the best movie going experience. Being in a dark theatre, in the hands of some twisted person that WANTS to scare you is exhilerating. This leads me to my first feature film. In 2005, I co-wrote and co-directed a horror feature film called, NIGHT TERRORS. This is our love and passion for good horror that is true to the genre and not just a WB neutered down crapfest. NIGHT TERRORS is in the vein of the 80's classic horror film, CREEPSHOW, in that there are several stories in one film. My film is a return to the good days of horror, it has a great story with engaging characters that you actually care for and have an emotional attatchment to. NIGHT TERRORS is a rollercoaster ride with all the blood, gore, sex, scares, humor, nudity that most Hollywood "horror" films DON'T have today. My movie is that fun, scary movie we all used to go see back in the day, with either a bunch of friends or better yet a date. Horror films are the best date movie. So, remember two things, NIGHT TERRORS and the name John R. Carpenter because we will both scare you silly.
