Rapper CHIEF KASH GITTA, born Khashif Brodie, grew up in East Orange, New Jersey. His quiet, but outgoing personality has made it easy for him to communicate with people from all walks of life.Chief was a name given to him by his older brother which stuck with him for many years. Kash Gitta originated from working job to job trying to better himself which ultimately landed him a job working as a sheet metal worker for the union.While working constantly, any free time is used to write lyrics about past and present life experiences.After many years of recording at different studios, hearing all kinds of promises and being sold false dreams, Chief Kash Gitta eventually linked up with music engineer Matthew Aidekman of Estate Sounds, and music producer Shakeeo “80Grand” Tshaka of Bangin Fresh Music.Currently, a project between the duo is in the making. Chief Kash Gitta, brings all types of flavors to the table with songs like, “All About You” and “Addicted”. Chief Kash Gitta’s work ethic as a writer and lyricist are clearly heard.As the future approaches, Chief Kash Gitta takes every experience that he’s learned into his quest of becoming a positive influence in the Hip Hop world.
