Grandpa Bob

I go these days mostly by grandpa Bob. The picture over there (above left) is an actual photo of me. It is how I always look when I wake up in the morning. My wife and I have been happily married for 57 years. I have two grown sons and and one daughter, 9 grandkids and 12 great grandkids so far.
I am retired from the music business but still very active with plenty of interests. I am a devoted vegetarian. I love spending time with all my great grandkids. I volunteer at an animal shelter regularly, and help out when I can at food banks and homeless shelters. I joined MySpace partly to fill some time and to meet new people.
Before retirement I worked in the music industry for decades (which is where I acquired my ecclectic taste in music), and owned a few companies of my own which I have since passed on to my kids and grandkids. I still enjoy dabbling in the business now and then when something new sparks my interest.
Mostly now I read. Now that I actually have time to read, I'm discovering so many great writers that I wish I had devoted more time to reading before! I have missed so much and I am making up for it.
