The Flint Farmers’ Market is a true community gathering place, drawing individuals from all corners of the city and county. Many of the vendors at the Market run family businesses that have operated here since its inception.
Items for purchase include: farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, potted and fresh-cut flowers, fresh baked goods, poultry, meat, cheese, a wine store (the first in a Market in the state of Michigan), a cooperative art gallery, book vendor, and organic food.
The Flint Farmers Market is located at 420 E. Boulevard Drive, Flint and is open year around on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. During the summer months of May through September, a Artist Market is held on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Citizens Bank Parking lot for your shopping enjoyment.
Also during the summer months, there is music on the market lawn every Tuesday and Thursday at lunch time (11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
A newly expanded parking lot allows easy access; previous year's congestion has been reduced, if not eliminated. With friendly and knowledgable vendors, an atmosphere which welcomes everyone, enjoyable entertainment, and a rich variety of excellent products,the market is becoming known as one of the "special places to visit" in Genesee County.
