About Me

The Chris Jones Rider Fund was set up after 14-year-old Chris Jones lost his life in a Motorcycle Racing Accident at Cadwell Park in August 2005. CJ was one of the most talented riders to have been seen racing in the UK for a long time and he is sadly missed by everyone. After speaking with Chris' family, Pam, Clive and Lucy they have agreed for me to set up this site to keep you informed about money raising activities whilst the other site is being updated - www.cjnine.comThe Fund has been established to raise monies to improve the safety and well-being of all racers at all levels in the British Racing series. The first project was/is a transportable X-Ray Machine, which determines riders injuries track side which was purchased in March 2007 at a cost of £100,000.The second project is to raise money to provide an Air Ambulance at each race meeting in 2008 and also two fully kitted out ambulances, see www.cjnine.com to see our progress. For people’s enjoyment and entertainment these riders, each week, risk their life for the sport they love and adore, sometimes at drastic expense. With the Chris Jones Riders Fund we hope that we will continue to make the sport and safer place to be.All donations to the Fund are greatly received and if you wish to make a donation please message me and I will send you the bank details. All of us at the Fund would like to express our thanks to everyone who has helped raise money so far for this worthy cause.
