Dj $kyline is destined for stardom as he functions not only as a dj, but a rapper, producer, and promoter as well. He displays an outstanding work ethic and leadership skills as he was co-founder of the independent label Skyline Entertainment and co-captain of the group 5 $tars. When asked how he does it all he simply responds with "I do what I can". In February of 07 he replied "When I say I do what I can, I really mean I do EVERYTHING that I can.Born in Atlanta, Ga, $kyline has since made a move to Montgomery and done well establishing connects. Coming from Atlanta's Westside, he's walked the streets of Adamsville, Bankhead, Ben Hill, and Allen Temple to name a few. He says "Wat I'm tryna do in da A is get back wit everybody. I spent a lotta time away from home and a lotta ppl kinda faded away. I was a lil nigga da last time I kicked it in da 4 foreal. Shout out to Zone 1, Zone 3, Zone 4, Zone 6, and all my niggas". With connections from the corporate, trendy Eastside of the city to the fast-pace Westside of the city (Montgomery) Dj $kyline plans to give everyone the shot to be heard in his upcoming "City's Finest" series."I thought it best to kick off the series in my current location" Volumes 1-10 will be in cities such as Atlanta, Miami, Memphis, New Orleans, St.Louis, and Dallas. "It took me so long to arrive on the scene because I wasn't being heard outside my own neighborhood." With the City's Finest series I'm giving everybody the chance to be heard by the entire nation and get they name out there for free." Before his career as a dj, $kyline was first a rapper. With slick rhymes compared to Lil Wayne and Fabolous his first album "It's all in the Name V1" is set for a Summer 08 release along with "The $ky is Falling", complete with tracks deeply discussing how the end of Skyline Entertainment came about. When asked about his "Redd $ky Productions he responded "Nobody was makin EXACTLY what I wanted so why not save money and actually make money and do it yourself" Outside of rapping $kyline has an endless list of accomplishments which include: having a book published at the age of 13, playing varsity basketball from the 9th grade on, being a state champion in the 4x800m relay, and successfully completing honors classes in school. "The sad thing about it, a lot of times the hometown people the last ones to hear about you. They think because they grew up with you that you just the average dude." $kyline says he ahas two identities. "The occupation of Dj $kyline is a rapper/producer/dj/promoter.
