I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Well, I began life in a little old town called Millville, nestled in the southern part of everyone's favorite state, New Jersey. I have been playing the guitar for as long as I can remember, and I have known that I would be a professional musician in some capacity for equally as long. Along the way I became interested in the recording arts and sciences through my introduction to the studio from my father and locally-based producer Robert Federici (Polygon Studios). The studio became a place of cosmic creativity and classical beauty; the perfect place! I never ceased with the guitar (or bass) and after high school I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA to further my studies. The first half of college was well, crazy, and I helped found a destructive rock band called "Tony Reeks of the Grave." With nobody's blessing but my own I quit college to pursue Reeking full-time (as well as wait tables to pay the rent). We Reeked and rocked for about 2 years until our house of cards finally fell and I was stuck as a waiter, not a guy in a band waiting tables, but just a waiter. The one good thing from my life's path metaxy is that I found the beautiful girl of my dreams (who is still by my side today) and I made a lot of great friends. But, it was time for me to move on. I learned a lot from the "Tony Reeks..." experience, but I needed a proper education. This time at Berklee I decided to study Music Production and Engineering. Very quickly I realized that to stay ahead I'd need to immerse myself in the curriculum. I did just that (NOT with great ease, I might add) and now I'm a graduate! A few of my mentors from Berklee would definitly be Richard Mendelson , the mixing god who believed in me and pushed me, no matter how hard it was. Also, Stephen Croes, of the Berklee Internet Radio Network , stood by me throughout it all and continues to be a beacon of support today. And last, but not least, Mitch Benoff, who, through genuine human love and intellect, taught me (and many others) to think for ourselves and believe that we can succeed. Now I'm in LA! West Hollywood to be exact with my girlfiend, Daina, and (eventually) our dog, Ringo. I'll keep the world updated on my life as it grows, and hopefully meet a lot of you in the process. If I've learned anything from all of this it is to engage in the dance and have no doubt in the magic of love (in all it's forms).
