Well, I am finally at a point in my life where I can truly say that I am happier than I've ever been. I'm living in Los Angeles in a beautiful neighborhood, I'm interning for MTV, bartending for a great company and taking the steps needed to reach my goal of entertainment correspondence and hosting. There are so many opportunities here and, as long as it is healthy and productive, I am up for anything that this amazing city brings my way! Over the last few months, I have been practicing the beliefs associated with positive energy and laws of attraction. Some people call it The Secret, some call it God, and whatever it is to each individual, I pray everyone finds it within themselves and lives everyday accordingly. Its simple, think about the positives, believe and live as if it was already happening...and it will! Life is a beautiful thing and many let the days pass without taking a moment to look around and appreciate all we are blessed to have. Moving away from my comfort zone has given me a whole new outlook on life and restored every ounce of happiness...not a moment goes by that I am not smiling or thinking about how lucky I am to be here. Of course I miss my family, friends and all that I know in Arizona...I think of them at countless moments of everyday, and, sometimes, I get a little homesick...but being here has given me the strength to realize that if someone is in your heart, they are always with you. Many told me that LA would be a tough city to survive in, but I have been very fortunate in meeting wonderful people who share a healthy, positive, determined mindset as well as similar goals.
