Four guys, retreating into their shell in the basement and making music for the sake of it – that’s Sinoma. Hailing from the center of snowy Switzerland and formed in 2002, this rock quartet tries hard to create the best music they can, but somehow it always turns out quite ethereal and melancholic. We’re sorry about that.
«Eloquently Lost For Words», our first record, was released in April 2007 on Honey Roasted Peanuts Records. We recorded the album in Germany in summer/autumn 2006 at Böni and Thomas Hahn's Elch-Studio where bands like Monochrome, Ostkreutz or Crash Tokio have recorded before. The album was later mastered by Kai Blankenberg from the Skyline Tonfabrik who has done mastering work for bands like Slut, Beatsteaks or Madsen in the past. We're still pretty
stunned by the outcome. So give it a listen!
