Family. Laughter, especially for hours and hours. Love. Books. Honesty. Hope. Knitting/Crocheting. Friends. Movies. Music. A Funky Beat. A Sad Melody. A Wonderful Life. A Beautiful Life.
I don't know if we each have a destiny, or if we're all just floating around accidental-like on a breeze, but I, I think maybe it's both. Maybe both is happening at the same time.
-Forrest Gump
For to be free is not merely to cast off one's chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.
-Nelson Mandela
If you would convince a man that he does wrong, do right. But do not care to convince him. Men will believe what they see. Let them see.

What I wouldn't give.
So much. Elvis Presley! Michael Jackson, pre-touching boys era (allegedly). Um, I like a lot of different music, depends if it catches me. I like a lot of sad songs, and songs that can make you dance without thinking. I usually don't like songs where you have no idea what they're saying. Unless there's a strong beat to carry me through. Tina Turner's version of Proud Mary is ... fantastic.
Braveheart. Almost Famous. Kill Bill I and II. What Dreams May Come. Remember the Titans. The Godfather. The Red Shoes. City of Angels. All the Superhero movies. Like Batman (all of them), Superman (all of them), X-men (all of them). Pride and Prejudice. Any Kevin Spacey movie. Starting to love a lot of old movies. Like An American In Paris. Sadie Mckee. The Red Shoes.
The Wonder Years. Heroes. Star Trek:TNG. Grey's Anatomy. Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Friends. The Girls Next Door. Stupid crap.
This is how it works
you're young until you're not
you love until you're done
you try until you can't
you laugh until you cry
you cry until you laugh
and everyone must breathe
until their dying breath
now this is how it works
you peer inside yourself
you take the things you like
and try to love the things you took
and then you take that love you make
and stick it into some
someone else's heart
pumping someone else's blood
and walking arm in arm
you hope it don't get harmed
but even if it does
you just do it all again
There are alot! I like to read things. Harry Potter rocks me right (I don't care who knows it! Those books are fantastic. ) I'm trying to read all the classics too, like Moby Dick, but I like Charles Dickens the best, and Victor Hugo's Notre Dame de Paris and John Steinbeck's East of Eden. Janet Fitch's White Oleander is stunning.
Books are the treasured wealth of the world and the fit inheritance of generations and nations.
