I am a very down to earth girl who has been to hell and back, but am just trying to enjoy my life at this point. What alot of people wouldn't expect to know about me is that I have ugly duckling syndrome. If you don't know what that is it is when you grow up ugly, but as you get older you get better looking but still feel like that ugly little girl inside. Sometimes people think I am either shallow or stuck up or the "girl with the big fake boobs", but they don't know that I am probably more insecure than any of them could ever dream of being. Insecurity is something I struggle with every day of my life. That is why I started modeling - it makes me feel beautiful. There might be perfect girls out there who don't have to work at being perfect, but I have to work to improve myself. It's those imperfections which make us unique. I used to be fat, had acne, was not homecoming queen, but I know that I am unique and I have a big heart, and no matter how many times I 've been knocked down I always get up. Beauty fades over time. Those things will never fade. I've been called ugly, I've been called fat, I've had guys yell out of their car "Jenny Craig is that way", and yes, I've also been called pretty, but it's those bad comments that always stick with you. That's what I am trying to work on in this point of my life, trying to love myself. I also try to have class. I don't believe in being trashy. I think a girl should conduct herself with respect. I have daughters, and I want them to grow up respecting themselves, and I don't want them to struggle through life as I have. Basically I am a good girl with a great sense of humor, funny at times, serious at others. In my spare time I write and read. I also like to model. I am extremely loyal, honest to a fault and really sweet. I work as a legal secretary, have worked there for seven years. I have two girls who I love more than anything. I am 31 but look younger. I am sensitive to other people's feelings, always thinking about others. I just basically have a good heart, always want to help others, always willing to give of myself, because some day it will all come back to me. I am extremely shy though, but once someone gets to know me they realize I am quite interesting.

My Interests

My interests are writing, reading, going to the clubs. I have been writing a book for over three years, half fiction, half non-fiction. It actually starts out as a book about me but then evolves into a crazy story, (something I would never be or do). I write poetry sometimes (usually when I am blue). I like to read (usually non-fiction or true crime stories). I keep up on the hollywood news. I know, I am a nerd.

Music:

I like a wide variety of music, rap, the 80's, disco, pop, love songs that make you cry. My CD collection ranges from Snoop Dog and Biggy to the Commodores and Stevie Wonder. I also love Poison, Aerosmith, Def Leppard. It's my dream to go backstage to a Poison concert so Poison if you are reading this - You know what you gotta do.

Movies:

My favorite movie of all time was probably Mask, not the one with Jim Carey, but the old one with Cher, because it was so touching. I sympathized with Rocky Dennis, not because I look like him but because sometimes we all feel alone and different than everyone else. I love mafia movies, Casino, Good Fellas, any mafia movie with Deniro and Peschi. I also loved Ray Liotta. I also love documentaries and I loved the movie Monster about Aileen Wurmos, the prostitute serial killer. Don't worry, I'm not psycho like her. Oh, and I loved Mean Girls with Lindsey Lohan. I saw that movie many times. It really brought you back to high school and what it was like, and of course I sypathized with the nerds even though I'm a nerd no longer.

Television:

I am a reality t.v. junkie. I loved Average Joe and the Bachelor, High School Reunion, American Idol. It's my goal to one day be on a reality show. I also like Gray's Anatomy and Dr. Dreamy and Sex and the City. I am so like Carrie. High aspirations, huh?

Books:

Prozac Nation was a great book, all about a girl with depression who turns her life around. I sympathized with her greatly. Dead Man Walking was great also, the movie and the book.

Heroes:

Friends who have helped me alot are my heroes,Kelly, my best friend - the girl who has been my friend since we've been 15 years old and shared so many great times with. She is one of the strongest and most beautiful (inside and out) women I know and no matter how many scuffles we get in I know she'll always be there for me. Sheri, someone who helped me so much and listened always, who never judged me and one of the most understanding wonderful and beautiful women I know, Michellie, the strongest person I know, Michelle, a wonderful person, Latosha, another wonderful and such a pretty girl,Kim, Angie, Mandy, Kristin, Keisha, Mary, my hairdresser, Viki, someone who helped me when I was alone and in the dark, Krista, a surrogate mom, my sister Hannah, Jill, my boyfriend Mike and of course my children (Madeline (so smart and beautiful) & Ivy (so sassy, cute and adorable) (my number one heroes) ADD SHADOW DROP ..
