Ray Albarez
Artist Biography:
He is a professional artist who began creating art as a child, drawing lowrider cars, superheroes and videogame characters. He later discovered graffiti throughout his neighborhood and soon after learned to express his creativity with a spray can. His passion to create art for others to enjoy, illegally at times, eventually brought him legal trouble, but he does not regret the feelings of excitement and accomplishment. His artwork has been displayed in venues throughout the Texas area including Artes de la Rosa, F6 Gallery and South Side on Lamar. He has donated artwork for charitable events and helped rival high school’s students to unite and paint large scale murals. While exploring 2D, color, texture and generally urban themes, 3D, kinetic and surrealist areas hold his near term interest. Hatziel Flores
Artist Biography:
His journey began at the age of 4, while playing under the dinning table, his mother presented him with a piece of paper and a pencil.Astonished by what can be created with those two means, his interest began to grow. At the age of 14, bored by what was taught in art school, he started to look for another outlet of creativity. He got introduce into the Hip Hop culture and started to get involved with Graffiti. This became an extremely important element for him. Graffiti has helped him express himself through his art in a more freely manner. He became acquainted with different kinds of art mediums and started to evolve his visions. Today he incorporates the Urban Techniques to a Surreal art form, giving him a finished product of an edgy Modern Surrealism.Up until this day there is no limit to his visions.
