We are tired, but can't sleep. Nicki is doing awesome, she's awake and eating!
Xander is also doing very well. He got a bath and I got the chance to rock him to sleep about two hours ag...

Oh what a night we had.
20 hours after Nicki's water broke, we had a c section! She did awesome! She was actually more worried about me than anything.
Well...the moment you've all been waiting for......

Well as the Hawkeyes play on strong, so does Nicki!
We just had another check up and things are speeding up. She is now around 90% effaced and 5.5cm. Awesome. Nicki is doing great, and the nurse...

Labor Update. |
Nicki was just checked again, and she is still 80% effaced but now almost 4cm dialated!
Still moving slow, but moving.
At least we can watch the Iowa game together.

Long Labor |
Its 640p now, and we have finally seen some progress.
After 12 hours she is 80% effaced and 2.5cm dialated. Wippeeee!
Nicki is feeling really good, and the baby is doing great too. Same heart rates as...

Still in Labor |
well its 430p and still not much.
they have upped her pitocin, and have seen little effect. Both nicki and baby are doing well. She is much more comfortable after the epidural.
We have had lots of fam...

Alrigh everyone. Here is an update of Nicki's progress.
Her water broke at 600a and we were at the hospital by 650a. Since then she has not dialated much at all. They put her on pitocin around 1000a a...
