Known for his versatility in dance music, Tim can play sets ranging from deep soulful and main room house right through to electro and indie-dance. Over the past 12 months, he has become a lot more experimental with his sound adding elements of drum & bass and electronica. Whatever the time or occasion, he never fails to entertain the crowd.
He first made an impact playing at local bars at the start of 2004 in his home town of Manchester and it wasn’t too long before he was playing clubs throughout the UK, leading to a summer residency in Ibiza for Pukka Up in 2005. He has held residencies on the white isle every summer since, most recently with Ibiza Rocks, Reclaim the Dancefloor and Savannah’s on the infamous Sunset Strip.
Tim is also no stranger to DJing on the festival scene and internationally for various brands. The past few summers have seen him play sets at Gatecrasher Summer Sound System, Bestival, Standon Calling and The Camden Crawl to name but a few. In 2005, he attended and played at the Lake of Stars Festival in Malawi alongside artists such as Basement Jaxx and DJ Yoda. A recent tour of Asia saw him play sets in and around Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. Other countries he has had the pleasure of entertaining from behind the decks include Poland, UAE (Dubai) and Ireland.
During the winter months, he has represented Pukka Up at venues such as Pacha and The Cross in London and elsewhere in the UK and Ireland, alongside DJs and artists such as The Trophy Twins (Radio 1) and Vula (Basement Jaxx). On top of this, he has held regular dates for London based night 'Twisted Licks', alongside artists such as Crystal Fighters, James Yuill, The XX, The Golden Silvers, The Young Punx and Modernaire. You can also catch him DJing for festival favourites ‘Lost & Found’ throughout the year with guest acts such as The Loose Cannons, Man Like Me and Sombrero Soundsystem.
He is currently studying Music & Theatre Management at LIPA in Liverpool, to pursue other ambitions alongside his successfully growing DJ career.
