About Me

I was born in Portland, Oregon where I started dancing at 6 years of age. My freshman year of high school my family moved to Bend, Oregon. In school I was involved in drama, dance team and choir....anything I could get my creative hands on. I finished out my senior year at Mt. View High only to move back to Portland to become a dancer for the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers. I danced and sang for 5 seasons with the Blazers while venturing out on auditions, singing with "5 Guys Named Moe" (local cover band), leasing apartments, working in property management, appearing on NBC's FAME with Debbie Allen, writing, studio work, choreographing, instructor for North West Dance Company and many more paths that have only groomed me for this journey I am very blessed to be apart of right now. A wonderful group of talented women, my sisters, Danity Kane. We have had quite the journey these last few years. A lot of sweat, tears of pain and of joy. Self doubt, self motivation, prayer....whew you name it! But I wouldn't have changed a thing! All of these things (and our wonderful fans) have taken us to the top, higher than we could have ever dreamed. #1 on Billboard our first week, selling platinum! Not to mention a hit single. Unbelievable :) I look forward to what I'll be able to add to this in the next few months. I'm so thankful for the support and love I have and have always had from my friends my family and fans.xoxo Thank you! God Bless!

My Interests

I love to horseback ride. I had horses in high school and I can't wait for the day I can have some again! There is nothing like being on horse back surrounded by peaceful, beautiful scenery...ok I'm ready to go now :) Right now I am learning French. I took a year course in college and I have always loved the language. I'm not sure why maybe it's from all the ballet :)

If you learn anything about me you will soon find out that I love strawberries. Yes they taste great but I also have my other reasons :) I was born with a birth mark on my upper shoulder that the doctors told my mom may or may not go away. She knew I might have to live with it and she wanted me to know it was a beautiful thing. So she told me that God knew how much I loved strawberries so he gave me a strawberry kiss. Needless to say when I was about 6 it started to go away...and of course I cried. Strawberries can be used as a lesson. When I was in High School our dance team coach quit leaving nobody to teach us. So my mom stepped in to help out and each year she would use the simple little berry as a great lesson. She would say " you all are beautiful perfect Stawberries BUT it doesn't take much more than one strawberry with a bad attitude or who's gossiping to create mold that soon spreads to the entire bunch. Don't be a moldy strawberry!" A little lesson I've passed along to my DK girls :)*Some fun little strawberry facts- -This heart shaped berry that adorns a leafy crown symbolizes: Health, purity, righteousness and prosperity - In medeval times strawberries were served at important functions to bring peace and prosperity.

But I truly admire their relationship. The love and committment they have for each other is a beautiful thing.I can't believe I forgot to mention one very important person I'd like to meet....GARTH BROOKS!!! So talented! Such an amazing performer and entertainer and most of all a genuine great guy. Have you ever watched an interview with him? You should. I have to say he is the one person I'd probably start crying over if I met :) I can't wait for the day I can write music and perform with him. What a day that WILL be :)MY 8 MYSPACE FRIENDS! As my friends grow I want to let you all know that I'm going keep my #8 friend for my wonderful fans. And since I just can't pic a favorite fan I will be selecting fan profiles every few weeks.
