*At a tender age, Supremo succeeded in dedicating his life to the world of music. As a young child SPRMO attended many groups where he studied the arts. Among these was Batoto Yetu (www.batotoyetu.com),were he learn the art of african dancing, drumming and singing. In elementary school he participated in the marching band, first as a trumpet player, and then in jr. high as a drummer. For the next few years, the drum would become an instrumental part of his life. Around this time he found his niche in Hip Hop and started producing beats and recorded and mixed his first full mixtape at the age of 13. By the age of 14, young "Premo" found himself enrolled in the world renound Juilliard School (www.juilliard.edu). There he was introduced to classical music, and found inspiration in the works and lives of the many great composers. Around this time, the youngin' found work as an intern at a recording studio just a few blocks from the New York's famous Madison Square Garden. Here he experienced, first hand, life in the studio, working with well known hip hop acts, while at the same time learning more about recording under master engineer Dan DaMan. Around this time, Premo became fascinated by psychedelic music from the sixties and seventies, and decided to pick up a guitar. A year later he began playing out on the streets of NY, eventually teaming up with Stiks on the drums. By 18 he had finished attending the Institute of Audio Research where he would find the skills to master the art of recording, mixing and engineering. Since then he has done works with a large variety of acts and producers, including the legendary Fantastic Aleems aka the Ghetto Fighter twins, several filmmakers including Ousala Aleem on such projects as 'FDTV' (www.fdtvdvd.com) and the highly controversial, 'Criminals Gone Wild' (http://criminalsgonewild.blogspot.com).
