About Me
Born may 10th 1980 in Trier, I started playing guitar by ear as a child before getting my first musical education in classical guitar aged 9.Inspired by my uncle, a bass player too I went over to the bass aged 13.From then on I played almost every gig and session I could get until in 1999 I moved to Mannheim to study Jazz and Popular Music. In 2001 I was awarded ..Best European Young Musician.. by the Los Angeles Music Academy and a jury of greats like e.g. Glen Hughes, Joe Porcaro and Bernard Purdie. In Feb. 2004 I was lucky (and still I am) to get the gig for the ..Heavytones.., the band on the daily TV-Late Night Show ..TV-Total.. on Pro7. I constantly get the great opportunity to lend my bass playing to stars and greats such as Kylie Minogue, Lionel Richie, Ronan Keating, Jamelia, Natasha Bedingfield, Michael Buble, Beverly Knight, Roachford, Mousse T, Lemar, Yvonne Catterfeld, Joe Porcaro, Stefan Raab, Max Mutzke, Stephan Flesch, Elmar Federkeil, Wolfgang Haffner, Danity Kane, Bela B., Mundstuhl, Jan Delay, Backstreet Boys, Joss Stone, Joe Cocker, Stefanie Heinzmann and many many more ...
