Named for a slinky contra-dance move, Hey! is an Albuquerque-based stringband that plays a mix of traditional music, often pushing the boundaries of tradition in their eclectic repertoire. Though old-time music is at its core, Hey! also plays Celtic, French-Canadian, and other styles, occasionally surprising audiences with stringband versions of blues, rock and roll, disco, and more.
