About Me

I'm just a small town girl, living in a lonely world. I like to picture Jesus in a tuxedo tee-shirt. My favorite color is light tan, and my favorite animal is poopies. I like serving the Lord, play Bollyboll...if it's not obvious (i.e. if you don't recognize the movie lines, which obviously means you have very little sense of humor), I love stuff that makes me laugh. I did just get a puppy, though, and she's adorable. I miss home every day. Home is Edgewater, FL, in case you're just getting to know me. I currently live here in sunny SoCal with my husband, whom I adore. I've been all over, I'm a bit of a nomad, but my oats have been sown, and I'm feeling ready to start settling. I'm the girl you'll never quite know for sure. One might think I'm an open book. One would be only partially right. If you catch me with a smile on my face, it'll only be real 50% of the time. If I'm not smiling, I'm more likely to be deep in thought than in a bad mood, so don't assume. Family makes the heart. My family is as dysfunctional as they come, but I'll have to set you strait if you have anything to say about them. God is still molding me, and I often feel like that playdough that sat out too long: I'm a little hard to work with. He never gives up, He just continues to be there. He's the only father I have, the only father I need. If you want a little challenge, start discussing something controversial with me. I love conflict; but even more than that, I love making peace with conflict. I am my mother's twin. Ultimate Fighting excites me. I can keep a secret if I want to, but I don't always. I tell on myself when I screw up. And I love sushi.

People who put a smile on my face. A publisher to offer me a deal I can't refuse. Jesus when I go home. My biological father to let him know that he missed out on greatness; and that I forgive him. A stranger in a dark alley; to show him what God's made of. A maid who wants to clean my house for free. Rachel McAdams, because i think we'd get along.
