Alex Jr, DJ, Music Producer and Sound Designer, his real name’s
Alessandro Cavallaro, born in Catania, 1969.
Since his youth he's been particularly interested in the music. His favorites rhythms were black, soul and funk, attracted to artists like Osibia & Weather Report.
In '90 DJ Alex Jr starter his career as DJ in southern Italy. Later he worked regularly as a DJ prestigous club like Marabu' disco Taormina (Ita) following his performance in northen Italy.
Soon and after an enorm success, his electric style, a deep afro-beat and electronic/techno between funk and jazz, led him trough some parts of Europe as well, various discos
and clubs in Barcelona, Munich And London.
The most important club where he played:
Discotheque, Pacha Café Lounge,Danzatoria,
ABC,Metro,Moog (Barcelona), Marabu' (ita).
Currently he is performing on thursday@"Moog" (minimal sound) and saturday@"pacha café Lounge" (Lounge And Chill-out) both located in Barcelona.

@"Pegasos Circus" (tech-house & minimal Sound) in Catania.
Expert in music computer technology, his workstation has the most advanced and sophisticated device set like: Pro Tools HD,Nuendo, Cubase Studio 4 and Sonic Scope platform.
He was able to pursuit his interests and gather a lot of experience until he decided to produce his own records or EPs:

- Alex Jr - Moonlight (2005, Molacacho Rec).
Since the late '90s he is also collaborating with experimental experimental Audio-Vision Groups, producing live acts those have been presented to the Sonar of Barcelona. He has
produced sound-tracks for parades and fashion shows as well.
Currently he is a producer of Molacacho Records of Barcelona.
