About Me

Name: TerryHometown: Upstate NYOccupation: Sales RepresentativeYears Tournament Fishing: 3Favorite Bait: spinnerbaits, soft plasticsFavorite Lake to Fish: Keuka (Champlain is great though I’ve only been there once).Favorite Lake Tip: Keuka lake is best fished on days other than weekends in the summer. Weekenders need to be on the water early and try to find someplace that you can get away from boat traffic. There are plenty of lunkers here, but you have to work to find’em.Top Tournament Finishes: 6th place, Tioga County Bass Anglers club tournament on Silver Lake, NYSponsors: Sport Fishing Ventures Unlimited, Ambush Lures, Bass Medics, Fish Hedz,Lure Tamers. (non-endemic) Simmons-Rockwell Auto Plaza, David S. Merrill Roofing, Nancy Murphy Allstate Insurance, Invisible Fence of the Southern Tier, Quixtar (ask me about this one!)Next season's Tournament schedule: I am looking to move up into Bassmaster Series events while still fishing club level tournaments as time permits. I just joined the American Bass Anglers (ABA) on the reccommendation of Joe Haubenreich, president of Secret Weapon Lures that the ABA is the best tour out there for the weekend angler.

Oneida Lake July 09

3 lb. 5 oz. smallie, the only one I managed to get in the boat that day. That tournament was a tale of lost fish.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

This answer is updated..I'd like to meet Greg Gutierrez, ELITE series angler. If you get a chance to add him as a friend on MySpace, do it, Then read his profile. You'll see what I mean. I would also love to meet Rick Clunn, my boyhood hero in bass fishing, Jimmy Houston, Bill Dance, and Hank Parker. These guys bring great entertainment to the sport I love. I have met and briefly talked with some of the big names in the sport--Mike Iaconelli, Kevin van Dam, Denny Brauer, Shaw Grigsby, David Fritts. I have also formed some pen-pal relationships with Mike DelVisco, Randy Howell, and Peter Thilveros. All of these great anglers have helped me in my quest to be a better bass fisherman.

My Blog

4 fish on a milk carton

I'm sure the local stores around Lake Oneida are now stocking milk with pictures of 3-lb. smallmouth bass that were last seen on the end of my line on Saturday. It didn't take long for the abductions ...

How has it come to this?

MSNBC has a live vote going on to decide whether "In God We Trust" should be removed from U.S. currency. How could it have possibly come to this? This is the very foundation on which this country was ...

Warning: Never go to Seneca!

10/5/08--My first tournament ever on Seneca Lake. This lake is the closest to my home, but by no means do I consider it my "home" lake. If I did, I'd run away from home!! The winning bag was just over...
