(( LikeNoOther16 on AIM ))) Jay Rosenberg grew up performing in the Miami, Tampa Bay area . Coming from a musical family he sang in the sunday school choir, he sang in school, he even sang in the corner when his mother put him there for a ‘time out’. It shouldn’t be a surprise that he ended up on American Idol , Making it to the top 60 in America ; or that at age 19 on FOX, and again at the age of 21, he won the competition for the Tampa Bay Idol on WiLD987fm. He received a great deal of local media, and radio attention in 2004, 2005, and 2006, and was asked to perform the national anthem at a Tampa Bay Bucs football game, a great honor for a local boy. Jay currently performs at night clubs, charity events, fashion shows, bridal showers, and even funnerals, which shows the diversity of ages his voice captures. Jay still volunteers at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, where he sings for the children with cancer whenever he can. This was sparked by the loss of a close friend to Jay in 2003, Chris Francisco. Jay also volunteers his time at the Humane Society helping find homes for pitbulls. Jay is on top of his game ,He believes that his gift is his voice, a gift that he cannot ignore and a gift he wants to share with as many people as possible. He hopes to turn this early success into gold, and maybe even into platinum.
