I don't know... you tell me... I'd be willing to bet it isn't you, anway... But I digress, since in this context 'who you'd like to meet' doesn't mean "who interests you?," as much as is it means "which American Idol would you most like to...?" I'd really like to meet my mother's mother, Alice Rinchey Anderson. I never got to meet her, but according to my mom, we were one and the same. Failing that, Nick Cave or Tom Kenny, the guy who does like every funny cartoon voice ever (as well as a million other things). Irvine Welsh. Elvis Costello. Bret Easton Ellis. Paul Reubens. John Douglas. Augusten Burroughs. Jill Talley. Charles Manson. Bob Barker. Philip Seymour Hoffman (one of the greatest actors, EVER,). I would have liked to have met Anthony Burgess or Ed Gein or Howard Carter or Bob Marley or Ted Geisel or Alfred Hitchcock (I named my first cat after him) or "Grandpa" Al Lewis, Roald Dahl... I can't say; I don't know who I would have liked to have met, because most of the truly interesting people that were alive in my lifetime are dead now. Someone a lot more interesting than a flash-in-the-pan pop star. Bob Odenkirk, Stephen Colbert and Iggy Pop, although I think they would either be the coolest guys ever or the biggest pricks ever. Oh, and Jon Stewart. Because I love him. Speaking of hot guys, I'd like to meet Ewan McGregor, Bam Margera (5 years ago) or David Beckham, but only if they'd wanna... well, you know.
