Hey! I'm Andrea, but I also go by Andie.. I'll let you take your pick. I'm twenty-two years old, and I'm from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It's home to beer, brats, and Summerfest. It's a great combination -- believe me! I'm currently living in California with my husband of a year and a half. My husband, Kyle, is a US Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton, and I couldn't be more proud of him. He just re-enlisted last summer, so we have another 4 years (at least) in the Corps. Kyle and I got married on August 5th, 2006. Don't try to tell us we're too young, because we definately have that one-of-a-kind-weak-in-the-knees kind of love(yes, still). For now it's just the two of us, but we're hoping to change that sometime in '09, once I finish up with school.
A few things to know about me, I love my family && friends, music, and mani/pedi's. Mani's && pedi's are amazing because.. well.. do I even have to explain?! haha. I'm pretty high-maintenance.. but I've been getting better. That doesn't stop my favorite phrase from being "I have nothing to wear!". ;) I love music -- everything ranging from country to rock, clasical to r&b, and everything in between. My favorite band still has to be Hanson, and they have been for almost 11 years. Yes they still make music, and no it doesn't sound like MMMBop anymore. My family is more like my friends, and my friends are like family -- and I wouldn't trade either for the world. I really miss everyone back home, but I know that we all have this 'closeness' that we can just pick back up where we left off. I love girls nites, whether it's just hanging out at home or going out to a movie. It's nice getting away from the boys and 'boy talk' every once and awhile.
I also have to admit that I'm a huge clutz, and I have been since I was little. I just never got the concept of walking, I suppose. I'm over 75% Polish, and I used to like to think that I could Polka -- that was until I went to Polish Fest and saw the real way! I would love to learn to twist, turn, and do the lifts that they do.. but I don't think my two left feet would cooperate! My cousin and I plan to go to Poland one day, hopefully sooner-than-later so we can tell grandpa and he can laugh at us. My hands and feet are always cold (even when it's 90 degrees), but it'll never stop me from wearing flip-flops in 30 degree temperatures! I'm really starting to enjoy this California weather, and the fact that the only time I see 30's is at night and early in the morning. I'll admit it, I've turned into a wimp since I moved here! But we'll be here for another 2-3 years.. so I get to enjoy the California sun for a little while longer and see what the west-coast has to offer.
