I once embarked on a grand adventure, tracking the footprints of an elusive pygmy marmoset across the Amazon river basin for eight trying weeks during the summer of 1992. I never did end up catching the beast, but I did overhear a series of shrill mating calls that inspired me to start writing music. My hope is that one day I will stumble across the perfect pop song, which will somehow convince the little guy to come to Brooklyn and come hang out with me. We'll have milkshakes and watch Futurama together, it'll be great.
