I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I have just entered my thirties.

I am stuck between two personalities: one desires nothing more than a guitar, a notebook, and a Camel light. The other is a nagging voice that says I need health insurance. The nagging voice isn’t my wife; it is 40, which is closer than 20, and daily grows louder than the rebellious child that wanted me to rock.

I have recently learned that I am not immortal. I gain my immortality back with a cup of coffee, but it also makes me nervous.

I am a collection of desires competing for primacy. I am a song, a poem, a story, and a recipe.

I find decisions are best made by flipping a coin or by other people.

I believe in God and follow the teachings of Christ, but don’t consider myself Christian.
I am in love with my wife whose wisdom is my blessing.

Incidentally, I grow corn in my backyard

I find it unlikely that such a chemistry professor, student, or conversation existed. I agree with the sentiment, though. Vote Libertarian!-Buddy   There was a chemistry professor in a large...

Just wondering

Why is it that the same people who object to spanking a kid have no problem with sucking one out of a uterus with a vacuum cleaner? Life is precious. Cherish it.

Breakfast meditations

Ok, so life is one big bowl of cheerios. All of life's possibilities are the milk in which life floats. You scoop up a little life, a little possibility, and eat them together. Some people use s...
