My name is dj chronic or shifta when im on the production side of things. Ive been djing since the age of 12 and have played with many top names including hype, mampi swift and clipz. Ive placed 2nd in two dj competitions, the first being the knowledge magazine mixtape awards where me and 9 other finalists battled it out at one nation Brixton academy, and the second being a comp run by reform records in Exeter held at the cavern. Ive played many other venues and also did a year of d&b nights at claires Torquay where i got to meet and play with many of the scenes top boys. I love going out raving and some of my best memorys are from a night called legends of the dark black held in plymouth at the dance academy but unfortunatly the night was shut down due to drugs or some bollox. I now attend a night each and every tuesday at run bristol hosted by the legendary distorted minds and mc jakes which i have to say is the best club night ive ever been to and also Exeter seems to be pretty blazin these days so big up Mr nice and the rinseout crew for that. Ive only just managed to save the money for my studio but ive been playing with various programs such as music 2000 for the playstation which helped alot with my sampling and sony acid pro which taught me sequencing and some basic automation so with that knowledge behind me im glad to say my production these days is improving all the time so watch this space!!!
