Aurora

I am a proud eccentric and wearer of many hats, most admittedly imaginary.(writer's perogative) A healthy imagination is sadly all too rare these days. Though I still sing and probably always will, I am presently concentrating on developing my skills as a novelist, and am in the process of writing my fourth novel. Writing has always been a love of mine, and has been a wonderful outlet for my three ring circus imagination. (Parents, don't supress it, it's a gift!)
I am proud mama to a rather extraordinary little girl, who marches to her own drummer and always keeps me on my toes. Despite what most would tell you, parenting a special needs child is as much a blessing in many ways as it is a challenge. You become grateful for ordinary things most parents take for granted. Each day becomes its own small miracle, no matter how tiresome and frustrating they can be.
I am not here frequently, but very much enjoy making new friends and hearing from the old. I am not here to hook up (sorry guys) or to have the longest friends list in the world. If I add you, I most likely know you from somewhere. I don't add a lot of bands unless either I am friends with a member, or I really like their music.
