The past present and future are the words to best describe Break. In the past few years we all witnessed the music industry take a drastic turn in the process
Somewhat leaving behind the true definition of the word artist. Now days listening to certain rappers is the equivalent to looking at a painting for the 2nd time seen it all before. What happened to originality? What happened to timeless music? What happened to supplying the product and not becoming the product? These are questions now haunting the industry. It's not about what you know or how talented you are anymore. It's about how willing are you to give up your soul to get on.Break being a 80's baby raised on the west coast residing in Watts, California. Which is known to be one of the roughest parts this side of the map. Growing up in a one parent home his father or in his words the "sperm donor" didn't play a major part in his life. Even though his mother was a strong positive influence in his life it was just some things she couldn't teach him. When times became hard doing the wrong thing always seemed to be the easy solution. Hanging in the streets running with the wrong crowd and as most young teenagers do idolizing the wrong things soon those things became him. As Break would say " i don't glorify the type of lifestyle i lived nor do i condone it.I've seen it all done it all and heard it all so i feel obligated to tell the next person if you have any other options besides that lifestyle i advise go with them". Being what some would call a product of his environment trouble came easy and regularly. Looking for something besides trouble to get into he started messing around with rapping. After being told he had a natural gift with words Break decided to take music on full time dedicating any and everything he had to it.Writing and recording songs came easy for break along with the talent of being able to produce his own beats. Yes he is what you call a double threat. Over the years he spent time perfecting his craft also building up his song catalog. Up to date break has over 300 songs recorded, international swagger, marketable appeal and unquestionable lyrics he's a rare find. Now that the pieces are in place it's time to take the world by storm. Motivated by the words of Russell Simmons "don't call me unless your the man in your city".
