Eyam is a group of musicians that come from different musical backgrounds. In the year 2007, the idea for the band was created by Aj Schmid and Mike Janssen in the dark damp hole known as AJ's Mom's basement. Throughout the year a couple demos were recorded but no other musicians had yet joined the scene. In late 2008, drummer Tommy Stangl joined the band and they began to write a new line-up of songs. With the addition of Kevin Focht on bass, Eyam is now only one step away from terrorizing the metal scene.
