colorblind by steven nealyits weird standing in this world surrounded in a faded gray. finding my lacking perception guiding my dillusional ways. sometimes its nice seeing only black and white. not concieving the worlds bloodshed and neverending fight. now i stand here thinking with my dull mind; why did god bless me with being so colorblind? i believe that this has brought me a loss in feeling. how could i ever see the light of heavens ceiling? beauty and grace never being fully understood. seeing colors is all that i ever wish i could. oh so distant i stand from mankind. Why did god punish me with being so colorblind? Its ironic how this is relevant to life. where even the wealthiest man is consumed by its trife. who would of known sight would be so bittersweet. that only our determination would overcome this feat. its our character that it truly helps us find. thats how god reminds us why we are oh so colorblind.
