Skally Cap Mafia

Not... the SCALLY cap mafia!

About Me

Ska is an integral part of our lives.
1-2-8
The Skally Cap Mafia came together in the first days of 2007. Kevin and Arthur met in a music theory class, where Kevin asked Arthur if he knew what "ska" was. With the help of mix tapes and local shows, Arthur quickly learned just what ska was about, and grew to love the genre. With Kevin on guitar and Arthur on bass, the group grew when the original two asked friend Tom to play drums and recruited Nate and Stan, starting their horn section. They played a few shows around home with an ever-changing horn section. But one day, Nate brought his friend Steve to practice and the group knew that this was it. After a year of playing around the New England area, an important decision was made by Kevin to step down from playing guitar, and add his trumpet to the horn section. At this point, Arthur switched from playing bass to guitar, leaving room for the newest member, Alex, to play bass. And now, the Skally Cap Mafia looks better, sounds better, and has way more fun than any band ever should on stage.
