About Me

I'm 24 years old and live on Long Island. I just graduated from Hofstra University with a BA in Math. Now it's on to Queens College for graduate school, where I will be doing a masters in secondary education. I currently work as a teacher's assistant at a day care and I'm in charge of the after school program. I have the greatest boyfriend I could ever ask for (Love you boobie). That's about it! Want to know more? Just contact me.

My Interests

Just out to have a good time. When I'm not working or in school (which is rare) I spend my time hanging out with my peeps. Love to do all the girlie things, like shopping and getting manicures and pedicures. However, I grew up around all boys, so I also enjoy doing guy stuff like fishing. I also enjoy going to the beach, movies, concerts... OOO can't forget the driving aimlessly with friends and creating the occasional mischief around town:-p

I'd like to meet:

Some kick ass people

Music:

I listen to pretty much anything, but I tend to listen to alternative stuff the most....Incubus, Dave Matthews Band, Hoobastank, Korn, Linkin Park, Jimmy Eat World, Weezer, Green Day, Live, Velvet Revolver, 3 Doors Down, 311, My Chemical Romance...to name a few

Movies:

Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Office Space, Bridget Jones's Diary, Top Gun, The Notebook, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and The Wedding Singer basically anything that makes me laugh or touches my heart...

Television:

Ok you got me...I'm a HGTV junkie *bows head*...but other than that I would definitely have to say my guilty pleasures are Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, and Brothers & Sisters. Otherwise it's whatever I find intriguing ...

Books:

You mean when I'm not reading my textbooks for school? :-p I'm currently reading The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. However, recent books I've read are Angels & Demons, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, Tuesdays with Morrie, Harry Potter, Good in Bed

Heroes:

As corny as it may seem, it's my parents. They have busted their asses to have what they have and give my brother and I every possible opportunity they could. My parents have ALWAYS put their children before themselves. For that I will be eternally grateful.

So true....(got it from Josh)

It is easy to be negative about past mistakes and unhappiness. But it is much more healing to look at ourselves and our past in the light of experience, acceptance, and growth. Our past is a series of...
