About Me

I live in Winnipeg, Canada, allegedly the second coldest city on earth. Originally I got a My Space page because it was the only way I could electronically communicate with another writer. I find some of the swiftness of My Space both exhilerating and creepy.I'm too old for you, maybe I'm too old for me. I'm an aged hippy. I think that some of the young women who send me photos of themselves and write that they are horny are actually an old fat bald guy in Florida.I'm 61, married for 31 years. We have two children, and you can't date either one, you're not good enough.I've been a writer all my life, but only started to send out stuff seriously a year or so ago. Googling my name will come up with some hits. Lately I've been writing poetry, but I also write "flash fiction" and have been working on a graphic novel for years.I run a book review blog for the Outsider Writers (http://www.outsiderwriters.org), and am always looking for new books to review, and for new reviewers--for "alternative" or "underground" writing.I also have a personal blog about high blood pressure & me, "Adventures In Hypertension", at http://victorhypertension.blogspot.com. I've posted all the stuff on that blog onto my My Space blog.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People who write fiction or poetry. Especially if they'd like some free advice about their work. People with questions about human rights. People with Hypertension.

My Blog

Is this poem just another way to jerk off? Or be a jerk?

The last month has been difficult for me in terms of posting anything new.  Mom has been in the hospital for a month, but is doing very well at 91.  Visiting every day has been difficult but...
