The Cultural Restoration Tourism Project (CRTP) is a small NGO that helps communities in developing countries restore culturally significant buildings while promoting responsible tourism meant to have a direct, positive affect on the local community. We invite travellers from all backgrounds and skill levels to join us in the restoration efforts, and work alongside the local crew.CRTP is now working in Nepal on the Chairro Gompa Restoration Project. The Chairro gompa is a centuries old Buddhist monastery located in Lower Mustang, a region surrounded by the Himalayan range of the Annapurna.
We are currently recruiting volunteer tourists who are willing to preserve a significant part of Nepali cultural heritage and spend a different and meaningful holiday.Come to Nepal with us!Autumn 2007September 08 - September 19
