The Goodbye Girl

About Me

The Goodbye Girl are a band from Launceston, Cornwall. They have just finished recording their second set of songs and are excited about the future!
Formed in the summer of 2006, rather than going out straight away and playing under-rehearsed material in public, they honed their songs in the practice room and have waited their moment before unleashing it on the unsuspecting gig-going population of Cornwall. No one can define the sound. But it's not too out-there and different so people can't understand it in their heart.
Jake Butler, the songwriter has discovered a gift and the music flows. Jamie and Tristan Pett, brothers in tandem, have played together for many years and form the perfect team to complement Butler's raw edge. Each has talent for their instrument but it is together that the magic is made.
