James Harrison

I'm a guitarist/singer/songwriter studying for a music degree at LIPA in Liverpool. I was born in Chester in 1981 and my main influnces are blues and soul. I'm gradually branching out into other genres but that's where my passion lies (blues all the way baby!!).I'm currently playing with Toni James (www.tonijames.co.uk), Shane Beales (www.shanebeales.com/www.project52.com), Jack Stevens (www.jackstevensbass.com) and Hannah Rockcliffe (www.myspace.com/hannahrockliffe. I've just started an eight piece blues and soul band which had it's first gig at LIPA this Chrimbo (check out my videos to see a few 'snippets' of the gig). There will be many more gigs to follow in 2007 - so watch this space. I won't go on about where and who I've played with 'cos I'll just bore myself and you! Suffice to say I love playing and writing and I also dabble in a bit of production.
