Welcome to the website of Mise Éire. The band consists of Paddy Rooney - Vocals and Guitar. Chaz - 4 String Banjo, Mando, Guitar. We are also joined by Seán Sheridan on special occasions. Seán is an excellent vocalist and one of South Armagh's finest whistle players. We play Irish Rebel songs, Glasgow Celtic Songs and Irish Folk.Irish Rebel songs are songs that tell the stories of Ireland, Freedom, corruption, the working class and british injustices.Too many people are quick to judge our music as bigoted and sectarian as it doesn’t conform to their own uneducated views. In contrast, our music tells the story of our struggle for justice and equality – a society free from sectarianism, racism and oppression.Irish Republicanism was founded on ideals that oppose all forms of inequality and continues to develop in a mould unknown to our tormentors.Be proud of the music and the history told through song…Let the music keep your spirits high!!
