Falko Richtberg is an artist in the Rhine-Main region you will sooner or later stumble upon. It’s already been seven years, namely since 2001 when he started his first club residency in Mannheim’s legendary Tiffany Club, that the area’s nightlife cannot be imagined without him.
Over the years, the degree of popularity rose and he became a fixed figure in the local and national night life. In 2004 he took another big leap forward when he played for “bigFM BigCityBeats†on the notorious party island Ibiza. In the same year he also played several gigs in French winter sports resorts like “La Plagne†or “Les Arcs†as well as in skiing regions in Switzerland.
Since those days the star of this still young DJ kept rising.
Thanks to his natural sense for mixing and mixplacement and his ability of making the right choices as far as disc selection is concerned he was soon booked by hotspots all over the country such us M1 (Stuttgart), Forum (Trier), Kagan (Freiburg), Take Five (Kitzbühel), Rockatiki (Karlsruhe), Elephant Club (Bielefeld), Deep Club (Heidelberg) or Loft Club (Ludwigshafen) to name just a few.
Since late 2007 Falko is most likely to be found in his studio where he spends nights and days producing and remixing.
Early in 2008 he founded the project “STEREODUDES†with his colleague and longtime friend D.C.F. In addition to numerous own productions up for release in the course of the year both are busy remixing, like this year’s NATURE ONE hymn “Wake up in yellow†which will be on the festival’s CD.
From January 2009 on, Falko's gonna be the producer and one of the four hosts of BigFM's new electronic music radio show "Tronic Love", that will be On Air every Thursday night from 8.45 to 11.45 pm. Tronic Love will be the only and exclusive electronic music radio show on Germanys biggest private radio station: BigFM. The show will be hearable on FM from the border to Switzerland in the south, up to Cologne and Bielefeld in the north. Worldwide of course, by internet stream.
