Marvin’s Performances span the globe in cities like Bologna, NYC, LA, Prague Tokyo, Salzburg, and Munich to name a few.Marvin’s lyric tenor voice is a perfect fit for many styles. In fact his versatility landed him on the roster of Three Mo’ Tenors for three seasons performing across the globe with many television appearances including the 2004 FOX broadcast of the NAACP Image Awards. Marvin’s Operatic repertoire includes leading tenor roles in Rigoletto, La Traviata, Cosi Fan Tutte, Die Zauberflote, and La Boheme as well as supporting roles in Street Scene, Lucia Di Lammermoor, Maria La O, Dialogues of the Carmelites, and Viva La Mama among others. Marvin also played the role of President Higgins in the Carmen Jones Starring Vanessa Williams and conducted by Placido Domingo. His theater highlights also include leading and supporting roles in Dream Girls, The Wiz, Guys and Dolls, Rumors, Fame, and Chanticleer. He is a winner of the Fairfax Choral Society's Young Artist Competition, first place winner of the Marie E. Crump Vocal competition, the Daughters of the American Revolution Voice Award, the Eddy Brown Voice Award, and the Paul Robeson Vocal Competition.Marvin is a graduate of the Catholic University of America with additional studies at Butler University, Universita per Stranieri (Italy), The Goethe Institute (Germany), and University Mozarteum Salzburg (Austria).
