HEIKO EBNER is a musician, living in Amsterdam (the netherlands).
He mainly plays trumpet & flugelhorn but also loves to play the lower brass instruments like euphonium (baritone-horn) and trombone.
He was born and grew up in the south of Germany (Black Forrest) where he started playing trumpet in traditional (brass) bands. After leaving to Munich to work as a brassinstrumentbuilder he started playing in various jazzensembles and big bands.
Music study in Holland at Hilversum’s conservatory and later at the conservatory of Amsterdam.
During his studies, he got acquainted to different styles such as bebop, pop, rock, funk and latin music and experience them while playing with various formations and big bands.
He played and plays with a.o. Eddy Martinez, Gerald y la Ritmica, Sonora Awakati, Bernie's Lounge, Amsterdam Klezmer Band, FP La Banda, FP Barrio Nuevo, Orquesta Naranja, Corazon Ardiente, Supersub and the Tiny Little Big Band.
