Paulucci AraújoMusician, performer and translator. Speaks Spanish and English fluently. Intermediary skills in Norwegian and French. Studied French for four years at the Aliance Française in Brasília, Brazil. Attended a post-advanced “Translation Practice” course at the Casa Thomas Jefferson English School in Brasília. Has worked at a translation office in Brasília “Empório das Letras”, offering text translation, transcription and consecutive translation services for international organizations such as ACTO (Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization), UNDP (United Nations Development Program), Festival Internacional da Nova Dança, among others. Has explored the expressive possibilities of the body since 1991. His dance and performance skills comprise contact-improvisation, capoeira, extreme art performance, clowning, masks, street theatre, puppetry and butoh dance, among others. Theatre-studies at the University of Brasília, Brazil. Makes soundtracks for dance and theatre pieces Actor and soundtrack artist in two productions of Aurin theatre Company: “Who’s Alice” and “Petronella”. Researcher of world music since 1996. Self-taught overtone singer and jaw harp player. Released his world music cd "Pangea" in Brasília, 2006. Extended surveys on the Australian Aboriginal instrument Didgeridoo. Healing sessions with the massage of the human body thru sound vibrations from different instruments and overtone singing. Made the soundtracks for the kids’ plays “Cordas Cantos Contos” and “O Marajá Sonhador”, the theatre/dance plays “Salomé”, “Meu Nariz” and “Aletheia”, “Cidade em Plano”, Brasilia, 2006. Caroline Bakke has studied singing and movement in Buenos Aires, Argentina, philosophy at the University of Oslo and classical ballet at the Norwegian Nacional Ballet School. She founded and teaches Conscious Movement (BevisstBevegelse) in Oslo, Norway, a system for personal and artistic development. In June 2008 she staged, directed and performed in her first play: Spacial Moments, in the theater NoAvestruz, Buenos Aires, Argentina. She received a grant from the Arts Council Norway to write the play and from the Norwegian Embassy in Buenos Aires to produce it. Currently she works giving sound- massage, voice and movement-classes and she sings and produces music with Paulucci Araújo and D’Airessang.
