I lost something a long time ago.. All that's left is emptiness An emptiness of which I have no answer, No escape, no solace.. And for every minute, of every hour, of everyday.. My heart yearns for a love I'd lost.. A love I knew existed, But never had the chance to hold. And now it's too late, For the love I once knew is gone.A memory of you Is all I have left.. Kept inside, the very essence of my soul. It is the only thing that keeps me from letting go of a past I shared with you. I remember your smile, it made me realize .. that there is more in this life to live for. Your eyes.. it had all the answers. And a simple glance you threw my way.. told me stories of a world only we could ever imagine. But most of all, I remember my angel, I remember YOU.I search for my life's meaning, it's purpose of being.. but I feel I've lost it.. Along with the one person who mattered most in my life. I know a part of me is gone, and eventhough I try so hard to fill the void.. that part of me can never be found.. knowing that I will never be whole again.. no matter what I do. I sit in silence, and wish you were here.. for you hold the key. But the more I think of you, and wish for you.. The more I realize that.. I am just.... chasing rainbows.... ='(
