About Me

To know me is to know you are in the presence of greatness. Well, ok, maybe not. In actuality I am just a simple girl; funny, down-to-earth, compassionate, loving, and genuine. With me, what you see is what you get.
I am a girl of many interest. I love the arts; musicals, plays, the symphony. Music has always been a huge part of my life. I love to write, mainly short stories and poetry. I can get lost for hours in a good book, or a good movie. I also love hockey (GO COYOTES) and am a big movie buff, especially comedies.
I am engaged to a wonderful man named Phillip, that has changed me and has shown me what real love is. He is everything I am looking for in a man and I feel so lucky and blessed to have finally meet the man I am going to spend the rest of my life with. I can't wait to marry that boy :)
My family and friends are a huge part of my life. My family has always been there for me, helping me, supporting me, loving me. My friends are the greatest, whether they are .. friends or friends I have in real life, I love them all.

Create your own Friend Quiz hereI love movies. Some of my current favorites are the Harry Potter series, RENT, Napoleon Dynamite, 40-Year Old Virgin, 80's films like 16 Candles and The Breakfast Club, Shakespeare in Love, and The Notebook.
I am a huge music buff, I love alternative bands like Fall Out Boy, All American Rejects, Hawthorne Heights, Relient K, American Hi-Fi, Sugarcult, Dark New Day, The Academy Is, My Chemical Romance and Aiden. I listen to some country; Rascal Flatts, Montgomery Gentry, Miranda Lambert, Faith Hill, Dixie Chicks. And I also listen to a lot of pop, such as Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Pink, PCD, and Kelly Clarkson. I try to go to as many concerts as I can, since I love live music. And when I am sitting here playing on the computer I listen to Howard Stern on Siruis Satellite Radio, or one of the many other great, commerical-free stations.
My tivo is packed with many different shows. Anything from Friends, That 70's Show, Boston Legal, the Law and Order Series, Without a Trace, Close to Home, Shark, Dirt, Medium, My Name is Earl, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, How I Met Your Mother, The Class, Two and A Half Men, and SNL..just to name a few :D
