About Me
First things first, I am currently the manager of eight-time UFC veteran and current Strikeforce star Joe "Diesel" Riggs, who I have managed for much of the last six years, and I also work extensively with the most decorated kickboxer in American history, Rick "The Jet" Roufus. I help run the fight camps for Riggs, as well as being a training partner and holding focus mitts.
I also work a full-time job as a Manager for the Bank Card Empire corporate office, which has 13 offices in the greater Phoenix area.
Lest we forget, I have a full-length rap CD out with my group, Politic Productions. You can hear me rap as Cube Lewis on the fourth verse of the song "No Matter What" (also featuring super-producer Heretic, One, J. Bentley and Little Johnny Danger), which is currently playing on my page. Check out the Myspace website of Politic Productions (on my top friends).
For those that don't know, The Cube is a native New Yorker who loves his Mets, Jets and Nets. Born in Flushing, I lived all over Queens growing up and went to High School in Long Beach (Long Island, not the Cali one). I've spent most of the past decade in Arizona (7 years), with a couple of stops in Florida, New York and, most recently, Huntington Beach, California, before I headed back to AZ last October.
Previous to my current work, I was an associate agent from October 2006 to October 2007 for the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Sports Agency, MMAagents, representing some of the best fighters in the world, including many current UFC stars. I was also Editor-in-Chief of Fast Times Magazine during my time in Cali.
As it is, I've been an Editor for several magazines (Harnett's Sports Arizona - from 1999 to 2002, Fast Times, a copy editor for Ultimate Athlete) and a newspaper (Long Beach Herald, a weekly newspaper with 50,000 circulation in L.I., NY), I was fortunate enough to play college football and have the chance to be a starting offensive tackle for Division 1-AA schools Stony Brook and Iona, I've been the manager for many MMA fighters and I have stepped in the cage myself as a professional fighter.
I was even the personal bodyguard for rapper 50 Cent for all of 2005, where I had the opportunity to travel Europe twice and the entire United States. Now I am fortunate to do what I love to do and get paid well doing it... life is good my people, life is fucking good!
"You can't beat me bitch, best believe that's my motto / driving around town in my '07 Silverado. Went to the Playboy Mansion where I swam in the Grotto / while yelling 'jackpot' like I just won the lotto." -Cube Lewis, fresh for 2008, you suckers!
