Hector Ferrales is one of many talented musicians Cuba has generated. He graduated from National Arts School in Havana as a trombone player. In Cuba he participated with different bands, such as Mi Gente, Sabrosura Viva, Tony Cortez y su BM Expreso, Fiebre Latina as well as Orchesta del Ballet y Opera de la Havana. Ferrales is now living in Victoria, British Columbia where he continues to influence the music scene playing with groups such as Havana Jam, Puentes Brothers, Alex Cuba Band, and Adonis Puentes. He is at the moment the band leader of Son de Cuba, a succesful band in Western Canada.
