Established January first 2007 during a turbulent time in the music industry, Glorious Homeless Records was created by artists for artists with a vision of creating and promoting a community of alternative bands. Since that time, GHR has grown to a family of 5 bands from Australia and Germany.
*****UPCOMING EVENTS FOR GHR BANDS in 2008/09:*****
MAYFIELD Are about to embark on their 4th tour of the UK/Europe. In 2010 they will be releasing their a full length record 'III' as well as playing a crap load of shows!
â€...Imagine Nirvana's "Negative Creep". Imagine if it was the soundtrack to the movie "300". Imagine every Foo Fighters song where Dave Grohl well and truly loses his shit combined into one...that's what you hear in this band moments before your head explodes.â€
“Mayfield...deep fried, rolled in bacon, fried some more, stuffed up the rear end of a buffalo with a few sticks of dynamite, rotated on a spit, stuffed into a rhinoceros, put through the singularity of a blackhole, placed between two hamburger buns with a sprig of mint and eaten whilst sitting on a toilet seat moments before an atomic bomb explodes.â€

ENDLESS NAMELESS are the newest addition to the GHR family. Hailing from Logan, Queensland, These boys never fail to excite and have truly delivered in 2008 recording an amazing EP to be released soon. Also no strangers to the road, Endless Nameless have spent the last 2 years playing the fuck out of the local and national scene. Look out for their latest release 'Unfortunate' available now
“They're Endless Nameless, they're from Brisbane, and from all appearances and odours they're nothing short of the real dealâ€
“...they run a recogniseable gene sequence between Nirvana's "In Utero" and Alice In Chain's "Dirt": fuck full of lockjaw progressions, deconstructed punch drunk neaderings, gasoline guitars and heavy bass rhythms all mixed in with a bag of cats fighting.â€
“System Of A Down, Cog and perhaps even Pitchshifter; all pulled apart with pliers and with the excess fat taken out.â€
“...no sequencers, no synthesisers, everything's raw as fuck and swinging wildly like a rusty car door in a dust storm.â€
...it's EXACTLY what we were looking for! It's grunge, it's Endless Nameless, and it ain't pulling any punches!â€
