You know, I always hated trying to describe myself. Too damn hard if you ask me.
I have two wonderful men in my life, and they would be my wonderful awesome Hubby and my totally cool son.
My son, Matthew Two Shoes, who will be 15 this October, and is just growing up WAY TOO FAST!!! I wish he would stop, but I know I won't get that. He is Irish, German, and Cherokee decent and very proud of it too! (Oh yes, he can be a pistol! LOL) He'll tell you how he feels if you say anything against his heritage or his family, you will definitely hear about it. He is a lot like his mom, usually putting others and their feelings before him. He is Mildly Autistic and ADHD. There are days that he gets so frustrated and angry because other kids his age just don't understand why he is different. (If you have an Autistic child, you know how heartbreaking it can get to see them feeling sad and lonely, even though we know they are not.) He plays clarinet in his school band and wants to eventually play jazz on saxophone. He is also in Scouts, whom are so awesome with him! They include him in everything, even his opinions and ideas! They think Matt is so cool and they are wonderful friends that understand him the best. He is also starting to get into other school activities and last year was on the Middle School Track Team. He was a Distance Runner, and though he always placed last, he NEVER gave up and his times improved greatly by the end of the year. . .he loved being on a team and looks forward to doing track again. He's learning to stand up for himself more, but I can sometimes get a little over-protective at times. He's been through so much since he was diagnosed with Autism, and he's such a fighter. So fair warning, don't think of judging my baby or hurting him.
The other man in my life is my awesome hubby, Randy. He is wonderful! He believes in me, loves me for who I am and not what my weight is, and is always there for me and my son. He doesn't tell me how to dress, how long my hair should be (though I know he would like it down to my butt), how I should cook, etc. Loves me for ME!!!! He is my Wolf, my protector. He is totally about family, and family comes first. You hurt me or his step son, you better be prepared to have a fight on your hands. He plays saxophone and I love listening to him play!!!! He is so awesome! He is getting ready to start going out and play in clubs again to earn a little extra cash. He knows some places do not pay well, but I love seeing him happy at what he does. He's a wonderful man and I wish I would have met him long ago. He also gets involved in my son's activities and is his personal teacher for Clarinet and Sax. He is also a Committee Member of his Matt's Scout Troop, and loves every minute he can with his family. There is just so much about him that I love, that it would take forever to list it!
As for me. . . well, I am who I am and no one can change that. I am one of those idiots that have and will dance in the rain (though will freak during Tornado warnings). Been through a lot of pain and grief in my life; and because of it, I don't take much crap. I have a low BS tolerance. If you can't be honest to my face, then you are not an honest person and probably not worth my time or energy. Until you know me, DON'T judge me. Walk a mile in my shoes and see & feel what I've been through before you can even try to understand. Those who know me (my family and true friends) understand this and stand by me.I love my life now. No one's life is perfect, but as long as you fight for what you believe then it's worth it.If you want to know anything else about me, you better ask my best friends (who are like my brothers and sisters to me.), and you better be prepared to pay them big bucks too if you want anything good about me, LOL.
