Formed on the Isle of Wight in late 2007, Proximity Effect are a determined four-piece alternative rock band who aspire to deliver the ultimate live experience to whatever audience they face.
Taking influence from artists such as Rise against, Deftones and Biffy Clyro, Proximity Effect fuse a combination of heavy riffs, catchy melodies and solid rhythms to create a unique and interesting sound.
Since playing the main-stage of the Isle of Wight Festival amongst various performances throughout 2008, Proximity Effect have been writing exciting new material with a debut album on the horizon for early this summer.
Proximity Effect have spent the last year honing and perfecting their exciting and energetic live performance. With an ever-increasing fan-base and the determination to spread their infectious sound worldwide, things certainly look good for this exciting young band.
